Reliance Jio Summer Surprise offer provides Jio Prime users with free services for three months, but the heavily advertised Rs. 303 and Rs. 499 plan come with daily caps on how much data you can use. If you are among the Reliance Jio users who do not want to be restricted any such limits, the operator has packs with Rs. 999 or higher values.
If you buy the recharge of Rs. 999 of more value, you get 100GB of 4G data for three months as part of the Jio Summer Surprise offer. Along with this, the operator provides unlimited free calls, roaming, 100 SMSs per day, and subscription to Jio apps. There is no restriction on how much data you can use per day, though the maximum free data you can use in the April-June period is limited to 100GB. After the 3 months of free services end, the Rs. 999 (or higher value) pack comes into effect, providing you bundled 4G data as per the recharge value.
There’s a catch though. If you exhaust the 100GB data cap at some point between April and June, you will be restricted to 128kbps. If you want high-speed data, you will have to buy a Booster Pack. Following are the prices of Reliance Jio Booster Packs:
Essentially, the major difference between the Jio Summer Surprise offer benefits for packs priced at Rs. 999 or higher and the Rs. 303 or Rs. 499 packs is the FUP. If you don’t see yourself consuming more than 2GB data on any given day, the Rs. 499 plan would suffice for you, as it will give you a total of 168GB of data in the three months of complimentary Reliance Jio service. The Rs. 303 plan, on the other hand, gives you 84GB of 4G data. You have until April 15 to avail the free benefits by signing up for the Jio Prime service.
