tnext E4000S Power Bank Review

In September 2016, tnext has launched its new universal power bank E4000S with dual connectors in India. tnext, a new brand name in the Indian market, has a lot of smartphone accessories under the brand name. from USB cables to headphones and power banks to USB chargers, they seem to be offering a few, but good quality accessories.

tnext E4000s power bank comes with built-in dual connectors Lightning (MFi) + Micro USB cable which is compatible with almost all the devices. This power bank is built with Multi-protection circuits of over-current, overcharge, over discharge, short circuit. According to the company, this is the India’s first BIS Certified lightweight dual connector power bank with built-in MFi certified cable. We used the device for more than 2 weeks and decided to provide the review. Below is our review of the tnext E4000S Power Bank:

Design and Battery:

The main USP is its compact size. It is a credit card sized power bank and it is packed with the sleek anti-slip rubber finish. You can carry the power bank anywhere without any difficulties as it fits in your pocket and it is very light weight. The dimension of the product is 83 x 59 x 12.5mm . The weight of the power bank is 95 grams only. There are a physical button and 4 led lights available to check the battery Charge level & circuit working status of the power bank. The dual connector cable is attached to the power bank, so there is no need to carry any extra cables while you are traveling. The power bank is built with 4000 mAh Li-Polymer battery.

Usage and Specification:

We have been using this power bank for almost 2 weeks now and we felt this is good for the people who doesn’t want to carry heavy weight power banks. It’s compactness and weight is the main factor. The in-built dual connectors is an another advantage to this power bank. You can charge smartphones [iPhone and Android], tablets, Bluetooth speakers, wearables, smartwatches and more with this power bank. The average time to charge the powerbank is 2.5 to 3.5 hrs. With the 4000 mAh battery, you can charge one or more devices, depending upon the charging device’s battery capacity. The overall performance of the power bank is good.

Price and Availability:

The tnext power bank is a good must-have accessory for smartphone users and we would recommend one of these for your daily travel. The power bank is pretty compact and definitely won’t add up to your backpack’s weight or size. However, for the selling price of Rs 2,975 the tnext seems a bit too expensive, as compared to rival brands out there. However, do keep in mind the highly compact size and the dual power connectivity cable which will allow you to keep your phone’s original cable at home.
