Just like Airtel and Idea, now Vodafone has also introduced two unlimited voice calling prepaid recharge packs. These new unlimited voice calling packs starts from Rs. 144 and they also offer data benefits.
The Vodafone unlimited voice calling pack varies in different regions. They allow users to make local and STD calls to any network in the country. Along with the unlimited calls, Vodafane users will get 300MB of 4G data, and free incoming calls on national roaming as well. There’s also a new Rs. 344 – Rs. 349 Vodafone unlimited calling recharge pack that offers all the same things, but bumps up data to 1GB for 4G handset users. Both these prepaid Vodafone unlimited voice calling packs have validity of 28 days.
Vodafone India’s Chief Commercial Officer Mr. Sandeep Kataria said “With these unlimited calling plans, there will be no need to hold back. Our hundreds of million customers can remain confidently connected and enjoy talking to their loved ones worry free. Our 4G customers will further enjoy the additional benefit of up to free 1GB data along with unlimited calls.”
Vodafone’s new unlimited calling recharge packs are in the same price vicinity, and offer more or less the same things as Idea and Airtel. To recall, the Airtel unlimited calling packs are priced at Rs. 145 and Rs. 345, while the Idea unlimited calling packs are priced at Rs. 148 and Rs. 348. On the other hand, Aircel has also announced a new prepaid plan that makes voice calling free for three months.
This is nothing but Reliance Jio effect, as Jio made an announcement that it has extended its free calls, data, SMSs, and other benefits till March 31, 2017 under the Happy New Year Offer. This ongoing competition is beneficial for the consumers.
