Samsung Launched Galaxy TabPro S Gold Edition With 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD

Now Samsung has launched a new version of its TabPro S. It comes in Gold color and with better specifications. The older version Galaxy TabPro S was launched by Samsung way back in January. It was also running on Windows 10.

The Korean giant has named its new device as Galaxy TabPro S Gold Edition. It will be priced around $999.99 (approx. Rs. 66,700) and is going to be available in the US via the Samsung’s online store.

Along with the new color variant, the new Samsung device also has some upgraded specifications compared to the older version. The Galaxy TabPro S Gold Edition comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD whereas the Galaxy TabPro S came with comparatively low specifications, having 4GB of RAM and 128GB SSD.

Almost all the other specifications are similar to that of the older version. The new Gold Edition sports the same 12-inch 2,160 x 1,440 Super AMOLED display and runs on the Windows 10 OS. It has 2.2 GHz Intel Core M3 processor.

The new TabPro S Gold Edition also features 5-megapixel cameras on the front and the back. It is backed by a 5200mAh battery which is expected to deliver up to 10.5 hours of backup. The new device also has fast charging feature that will fully charge it in 2.5 hours.

On the connectivity front, it has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a USB Type-C port. The new TabPro S Gold Edition measures at 290.3×198.8×6.35mm and weighs around 694 grams.

There’s no word from Samsung on whether the new Galaxy TabPro S will be available in India. The older model Galaxy TabPro S was expected to be launched in India in April but is still not available in the country so we cannot expect to see the device in India soon.

Stay tuned for more updates regarding the same.
