Samsung, a Korean tech giant and one of the top smart phone maker has launched its budget phone in India at price tag of Rs 4,590. And a statement came from Samsung which said that it was wholly developed by its Bengaluru team. So, its the first phone of Samsung fully developed in India. It is launched in three different variants and these are Black, Wine Red and Gold color. And it will be available on your nearby Samsung Store and online on Paytm.
This is the first device by Samsung which runs on Tizen OS and with it, 4G enabled LTE feature . It basically comes with the LTE Cat 4, which gives the max download speed of 150Mbps and uploading speed of 50Mbps. HD calling and VoLTE functionalities are also some of the flaunting features of the phone. And it is also worth notable that Samsung is also giving Jio preview offer that is unlimited Internet connectivity and calling facilities, for 90 days. This could also be the best reason to buy the phone.
So, now a talk about its specifications. So, Samsung has worked on Tizen OS and as a result of it, they have provided 12 regional language support on the device. An added feature in the phone is of offline money transferring, that means you could transfer up to Rs 5,000 without Internet connectivity through their embedded app and that is “My Money Transfer”. This app comes pre loaded in the mobile. Samsung also said that in their new OS some sporty features are added like gesture unlock, you may switch to another app through swiping the window of the current app and many more. It also has another pre loaded app and that is “Smart Tutor” and it is made for the starters or you may say freshers in Smart phone using. It also supports the recent S-bike mode and Ultra data saving mode, which saves data up to 405.
Now, about the device. So, brand new Z2 has a sporty screen of 4inch WVGA(480*800 pixels) display, it is powered with the 1.5 GHz quad-core processor. And it has a support of 1GB RAM. And it also comes with a 5 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 0.3 Megapixel front camera. It supports 8GB internal storage and coulod be expanded up to 128 GB through micro SD card. It is the third phone of its Z series, which comes Tizen powered.
Company reported that ” 4% of sub-Rs 5,000 devices sold in India today are 4G, compared to 80% of all smartphones. The Samsung Z2 aims to fill the gap.
