Since March 2016, OnePlus has been selling in Finland through the Finnish carrier, Elisa, and in a short time span has seen significant success in the market.
In July, which is one of the most busiest months, the OnePlus 3 was the best-selling phone online and the second-best-selling phone overall for Elisa in Finland.
The OnePlus 3, Samsung Galaxy J5, and iPhone 5s and 6s appear in every section of Finnish operator Elisa’s top ten best-selling phones for July 2016. Among retail customers, the Galaxy J5 held on to top position and the OnePlus 3 rose to second place from sixth in June. The iPhone 5s rose to third place in July from fourth in June, but its iPhone 6s sibling dropped to fourth place from second the month before.
The Huawei P8 Lite fell two notches to fifth in July from third in June and its Honor 7 stablemate slipped to sixth among private customers from fifth. The Galaxy A3 entered the top ten for retail customers in July at seventh place. The Nokia 215 was still eighth. Huawei Honor 7 Lite tumbled to ninth position from fifth in June and the Microsoft Lumia 550 came tenth, after it not appeared in the top ten in June.
Turning to sales on its online shop, Saunalahti.fi, Elisa said the OnePlus 3 held on to its leading position, while the Galaxy J5 rose to second place from fourth in June and the Honor 7 dropped to third from second. The iPhone 5s came fourth and the iPhone 6s fell to fifth in July from third in June.
Looking at sales to corporate customers, the iPhone 6s retained first place in July, the Galaxy Xcover 3 rose to second position from fifth in June and the iPhone 5s stayed in third place. The iPhone SE stuck to fourth position. Samsung Galaxy J5 came fifth, down from second among business customers in June.
The OnePlus 3 entered the business top ten in sixth place in July. The Huawei Y5 came seventh (unlisted in June). The Microsoft Lumia 650 was eighth again. The Galaxy S5 Neo dropped to ninth in July from seventh in June and the Galaxy A3 slid to tenth from ninth the month before.
