An alleged photo of a dummy unit of the Apple iPhone 7 has been leaked. The image indicates that the iPhone’s antenna lines have been moved from the rear panel, and have been repositioned along the top and bottom edges of the device. There also appears to be a smart connector at the back.
The smart connector was first introduced on the iPad Pro, and allows you to transfer both data and power to compatible accessories. Reports suggest that the smart connecter port’s role on the iPhone 7 will range from battery case connectivity to wireless charging.
The leaked photo also reveals that the iPhone 7 will have a flush camera lens, unlike the protruding unit found on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. The photo doesn’t reveal if the device will sport a 3.5mm audio jack or not. The phone is expected to be unveiled in September this year.
