Micromax-backed Yu has slashed the price of Yuphoria by Rs. 500. Now the smartphone comes with pure Android 5.0 Lollipop instead of Cyanogen OS 12 and is priced at Rs. 6,499.

Yu Yuphoria Price Slashed, Now Available With Pure Android 5.0 Lollipop For Rs. 6,499

Lets take a look at specifications of Yu Yuphoria. It has a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) TFT IPS display and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The dual-SIM smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor and has 2GB of RAM. It has internal memory of 16GB that is expandable up to 32GB. The device also features a Adreno 306 GPU.

The Yuphoria has 8-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.2 lens and LED flash and 5-megapixel front camera. The smartphone packs a 2230 mAh battery and has 4G LTE support as well. It is available on Amazon for Rs. 6,499.

Separately, according to the company founder, A high-end device by Yu is expected to be launched this month.
