
In terms of specifications, the phone is expected to have a 5-inch display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It will be powered by an MediaTek SoC clocked at 1.3GHz with an octa-core processor and paired with 2GB RAM. The device is said to have an internal storage of 16GB along with a microSD card.
It will be equipped with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash along with an 8MP front-facing camera. The device will run on Amigo 3.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. In addition, the device is said to measure 6mm in thickness. The smartphone is also said to have a 3,150mAh battery.
Earlier this month, the company announced its first ‘Made in India’ smartphone F103 in India. Gionee claims to have sold 4 million devices in India and will look to double the sales in 2015-2016, backed by support provided through its India manufacturing.
The ‘Made in India’ device is now available at a price of Rs 9,999 and sports a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels of resolution, the smartphone comes with Dragontrail glass for protection. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor and 2GB of RAM.
