The Gionee F103 has support for both LTE bands in India and it will be competing against popular smartphones in the same segment like Asus Zenfone 2 Laser, Lenovo K3 Note, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, and Motorola Moto G (3rd Gen) etc. Another notable feature of the handset is it features glass back panel while sporting a metal frame.
It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and has the Amigo 3.0 skin. It features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display and comes with Dragontrail glass for protection from scratches. The dual-SIM smartphone features dual standby and is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor that is coupled with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone will be offered in Pearl White, Dawn White and Black colours.
The Gionee F103 sports an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture while also packing a 5-megapixel front camera. The handset comes with 16GB inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). Apart from 4G, the smartphone includes Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB connectivity options. It measures 146×70.3×7.95mm and packs a 2400mAh battery.
